On December 4, 2010, Saudi Aramco team members including Mr. Abdelhak Kermad, Metallurgical Consultant; Mr. Dennis Neimeyer, Welding Consultant and Mr. Ali Y Al-Kawaie, Metallurgical Lab Group Leader visited the mechanical testing lab of TCR Arabia.

TCR Arabia receives a Purchase Order from SWCC for Condition Assessment

TCR Arabia has received a purchase order from SWCC for Condition Assessment of Main Steam Piping.  This job is scheduled to start on the 9th October, 2010. TCR is also undertaking the scaffolding and insulation works upon recommendation from SWCC.  This order is based on the repair order No. 0680 dated 08/02/1431H regarding rehabilitation and refurbishment of Main steam pipe – phase 1 – Jubail Station.

TCR Engineering Consulting FZC (UAE) assisted Raysonics Pty at the Sasol Secunda CTL plant Shutdown in August-September 2010. Sasol (NYSE: SSL) is a multinational gas and oil company based in South Africa that produces a wide array of chemical and liquid fuels. Sasol specializes in gas-to-liquid (GTL) and coal-to-liquid (CTL) technologies, which convert natural gas and coal to diesel and other liquid fuels, and it is the largest producer of motor fuels from coal worldwide. The company operates the world's only commercial coal-based manufacturing facility at its Secunda (about 140km from Johannesburg) plant in South Africa.
